Feudi di San Gregorio

2006 Falanghina Sannio ($18). Delicious, with tropical citrus and apple pie aromas and flavors picking up refreshing mineral and lemon zest on the finish. A refreshing match for rich starters like seafood risotto or a creamy crab pasta. Ready to drink now. (Weekend Wine 11/07)

2005 Fiano di Avellino ($23). Aromatic nectarine and ripe pear flavors are laced with wildflower, mineral and a touch of honeycomb, with a bright, fresh finish. Ready to drink now. (Weekend Wine 11/07)

2005 Greco di Tufo ($23). A signature Feudi wine (at least in our minds!), this 2005 vintage is gorgeous. With elegantly structured apricot, juicy apple and lemon zest aromas and flavors the fold together on a rich, fruity finish. Ready to drink now. (Weekend Wine 11/07)

2005 Fiano di Avellino Campanaro ($42). Sleek and lemony, with mineral-driven citrus, apricot and papaya flavors that stay focused through the clean finish. Ready to drink now and over the next couple of years. (Weekend Wine 11/07)

2004 Grecco Cutizzi ($30). Peach, juicy citrus and apricot aromas and flavors are intense and mouthfilling, and stay focused through the mouthwatering finish. Picks up a touch of almond along the way. Ready to drink now and over the next two or three years. (Italian Connection 04/06)

2004 Fiano Pietracalda ($30). Intense wildflower honey notes accent summer melon and apricot flavors, with citrus and mineral notes emerging on the juicy, long finish. Ready to drink now and over the next two or three years. (Italian Connection 04/06)

2004 Falanghina Serrocielo ($30). Tropical fruit aromas and flavors that are rich and intense but stay dry through the crisp finish, picking up floral, mineral and lime zest notes. Ready to drink now and over the next two or three years. (Italian Connection 04/06)

2004 Fiano di Avellino ($21). Aromatic lemon, hazelnut and floral notes are lovely against the ripe apple fruit, with a complex honey note on the finish. Ready to drink now. (Italian Connection 04/06)

2004 Falanghina Sannio ($12). Excellent value, with a delicious balance of rich pineapple, fresh citrus and mineral that all mingle on a long, rich finish. Ready to drink now. (Italian Connection 04/06)

2002 Falanghina Sannio ($15). Subtle layers of pear, spice, hazelnut and generous mineral notes combine for an appealing, medium-bodied white. Food friendly. Ready to drink now. (Robyn's Picks, 12/03)

2001 Greco di Tufo ($18). We loved this wine last year and think it's wonderful again this time around. Medium-bodied, with juicy nectarine, stone, toasty almond, and cream notes. All-around yummy. Ready to drink now. (Weekend Wine, 02/03)

2000 Greco di Tufo ($18). If you didn't already know it (and I'm not sure why you would!), Greco di Tufo is a grape variety. This wine is 100% Greco di Tufo and is from the Campania region of Italy -- near the top of the "boot" on the western coast. Campania has made great strides in the last few years as one of Italy's up and coming wine regions. This wine is solid -- lovely fruit is delicately balanced with almond, cream, and floral notes. Good acidity and finish. Ready to drink now. (Weekend Wine, 02/02)
