Castell Remei 1998 Costers Del Segre ($30). A blend of Tempranillo, Carinena, Garnacha, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine seemed to have a New World fruitiness and ripe sweetness, with plenty of toasted oak, vanilla and nutmeg. I thought it was quite tasty and ready to drink now. (Weekend Wine, 07/01)
