Recipe: Desserts: Sauteed Strawberry Sundaes
(serves 6)
1½ stick unsalted butter
¾ brown sugar
¾ pound strawberries, hulled and
sliced
Premium vanilla and chocolate ice creams
Slivered almonds
Freshly whipped cream
Melt butter and brown sugar in a large
skillet over medium heat. Add strawberries
and cook for 2 minutes. Serve warm over
ice cream - one scoop of vanilla and one
scoop of chocolate, along with a dollop
of whipped cream and a sprinkling of slivered
almonds.
These are addictively good -- the mouthwatering
aromas will have your guests going for seconds,
so be sure and make plenty!
