Beverages: The Calcutta
Subtly infused with cardamom, this is
an exotic pear martini.
2 whole cardamom seeds
2 shots Bauchant Pear XO liqueur
1 shot Cognac
½ shot Cointreau
Sugar for rim, mixed with a pinch of cardamom
Lemon twist
Muddle the two cardamom seeds in the bottom
of a shaker. Add pear liqueur, Cognac and
Cointreau, and shake. Strain (use a fine
strainer, if you can) into a martini glass
with a sugar-cardamom rim. Garnish with
a lemon twist.
Delicious with salted pistachios
