In an effort to never ever have to answer this question again, we hereby present the basic nutritional information on wine. This is all we know. If the answer you’re looking for isn’t here ("How many minutes do I have to spend on the treadmill to burn off the carbs in one glass of White Zinfandel?")… we don’t know it. Don’t ask us. We don’t know.

Calories:
5 ounce glass of dry red, white or sparkling wine contains approximately 100 calories

5 ounce glass of sweet wine contains approximately 225 calories

Carbohydrates:

5 ounce glass of dry red, white or sparkling wine contains approximately 4.3 grams of carbohydrates

Fat:

There’s no fat in wine – saturated or otherwise

Protein:

No significant protein in wine
