Forest Glen Winery

Forest Glen Winery is a name to keep in mind for quality wines at bargain prices. These are ready to enjoy now, they taste good, you’ll enjoy them with dinner tonight, and you know you’re not paying too much. How easy is that?

1998 Oak Barrel Selection California Cabernet Sauvignon. Concentrated but still juicy and easy to drink, this wine features loads of smooth blackberry fruit with a bit of kicky pepper, good oak, and a nice lingering finish. Ready to drink now.

1999 Oak Barrel Selection California Merlot. Red cherry, berries, and a touch of ripe plum are accented with just a hint of vanilla oak. Soft and round and ready to drink.

1999 Oak Barrel Selection California Shiraz. Black currant and spice are smoothed out with appealing plum notes. Generous oak lingers on the finish. Ready to drink now.

1999 Oak Barrel Fermented Chardonnay. Tropical fruit is the star here, with doses of citrus and creamy oak that add balance and interest. Lingering finish. Ready to drink now.

1999 White Merlot. We’ve mentioned this wine before, and it’s still a fun choice! Just off-dry and best served well-chilled, this is a great choice for spicy foods and barbecue. Strawberry and raspberry fruit are accented with subtle herbs and just a bit of creaminess on the finish.
