Past Issues: Bargain Wine, jun/jul 2004 --
Rancho Zabaco Dancing Bull

In this regular feature, we spotlight those wines that offer great bang for the buck -- under $15 bucks, to be exact. Here you'll find our everyday wines, house pours, and occasionally a great new find. Have a favorite Bargain Wine? Tell us about it at editor@wineskinny.com

Dancing Bull represents the lighthearted, party girl side of Rancho Zabaco. There are two Dancing Bull labels - a Sauvignon Blanc and a Zinfandel. Both are bright and juicy, easy to drink, great for crowds, and easy on the wallet... Perfect Bargain Wine choices!

Rancho Zabaco 2003 Sauvignon Blanc California Dancing Bull ($10). Fragrant lime and floral notes introduce juicy citrus and apple fruit flavors, laced with freshly cut grass. Clean and great for warm weather sipping. Ready to drink now.

Rancho Zabaco 2002 Zinfandel California Dancing Bull ($10). Sweet strawberry and cherry aromas and flavors are accented with cracked black pepper and smooth vanilla. Bright and juicy, easy to slurp! Pair with summer barbecue and cookouts. Ready to drink now.

This now-fabulously-named column used to be called Easy To Find One Figure Wines, for reasons that we cannot currently remember but were surely enthusiastic about at the time. Anyhoo, check out our Past Issue Index for more great value-priced wine selections!
