I did a quick search for Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignons released in the last year or so and came up with an average retail price of $83.74. I’m sure my list was not all-inclusive, but this number should give you an idea of what the famous Rutherford dust is fetching these days.

Beaulieu Vineyard 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford ($27). Smooth, lush, aromatic black currant fruit is laced with cocoa, anise and dried lavender, with a long, supple, deeply fruity finish.
