Book: Riesling Rules
These days, FREE is the right price. And that’s exactly what a new and extremely useful little booklet is going for.
“Riesling Rules” is as cute and clever as it is educational — which is to say, its 40 pages of Riesling facts, lists and snippets are laced with fun quotes and tips that keep things light and approachable. ”How to Sound Like a Riesling Geek” is tucked in after some pretty decent information about Riesling Growing Regions, lists of key Mosel and Alsace producers.
Whether you’re already a committed Riesling fan, or just cannot quite figure out why everyone keeps telling you that you should like Riesling, or somewhere in between — this booklet will hold your interest.
The Pacific Rim marketing is admirably held to the barest minimum. Probably wise not to make too many direct comparisons between the Pacific Rim Rieslings and, say, the Mosel’s Egon Muller, but still — what makes the booklet so appealing is precisely that it doesn’t read like a company marketing piece.
That being said, I recently wrote about the Pacific Rim wines, so allow me to offer a little plug on their behalf!
“Riesling Rules” is available free — order a hard copy or check out the chapters online – here at the Riesling Rules website. (I’m thinking this would make a great stocking stuffer…)
